Fashion Fridays with Whit: Ruffles, Stripes and Florals
It's Fashion Friday with ME! I am excited because my favorite season is finally here...SPRING! This year we have tons of new trends to play and have fun with from the Spring/Summer 2017 collections, some of my favorites being:
Super bright colors like the pinks, purples and yellows like Balenciaga and Comme des Garçon, head to toe florals like Giambattista Valli and Micheal Kors, bold stripes like Fendi and Missoni and ruffles like Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini and Rodarte. I love a super girly look so these trends are right in line with my style! Ok so, how to style them? Where should we start? I say it depends where we’re going!
Easter Brunch

Floral is my favorite print to wear! Florals will NEVER go out of style. They are versatile, feminine and flattering on different body types.
Summer night out
Top: Iris and Ink, Shorts: Carolina Herrera, Shoes: Steve Madden, Necklace: Kim Rogers
Bold stripes are a close second to florals for me. You can wear bold stripes anywhere, but they look especially beautiful when you dress them up for a night out. You can't ever go wrong with stripes. I say the bolder and brighter, the better! Take a risk!
Going on a lunch date or shopping?

Like florals, ruffles always add a feminine touch, I just LOVE them! If you are wondering what to wear while shopping, running errands or brunching with the girls, ruffles, ruffles, ruffles! Ruffles have so much movement, it makes the whole experience of wearing them fun. Ruffles even make accessorizing easier because less is more. I recommend everyone shop for a ruffled top or skirt or dress this season to have in your closet, just in case ;)
Wedding or Bridal Shower

If you’re heading to a wedding or bridal shower, a bright colored jumpsuit is the perfect go to look. Jumpsuits will guarantee you comfort while eating, dancing and walking. What is there not to love?!
