Passover Seder

Yesterday, bae and I attended our second Passover Seder. Our first one was in Santiago, Chile; random and so beautiful. This Seder was partnered up with the NAACP family members from around the nation along with its President. We ate, sang, danced, took photos, laughed and cried.

I had no idea about dress code or really the purpose of the it. I figured unless one is attending a weeding, white is always safe and conservative so I went with this Derek Lam shirt dress with and buttoned up neck and flowers in thread on the chest and sleeves. I wanted the red to pop more so I put on my FAVORITE red lipstick ever, Ruby Woo from MAC. I had such a hard time picking shoes because heels can be a bit much sometimes and I almost always go with sneakers but it did not seem appropriate so I went with my chucky heeled Steve Madden lace up boots.
