Birthday Girl

For my birthday dinner, we went to Quintonil which is one of the top 50 best restaurants in the world. The experience was grand, the food was rich and the decor was modern and classic. We decided on the tasting menu with the wine pairing which only meant 4 hours of food, drinks and laughs. We left SATISFIED and HAPPY. We hit it off with the chef, too who then introduced us to one of the best after-hour Sake bars in Mexico City. 

I wanted to do the beginning of 28 right so I went with this black, goddess-esque, ruffled, plunged neck line, full length, flowy dress by Tobi. I felt super elegant and lady like all night long despite the amount of drinks we had between the wine paring and the sakes.

I think this look is quite representative of this new year in my life. We think so much about our birthday outfits as women and men because we want to look the part, sure but we also want to receive a new year like its on damn purpose!
