Hi Loyal Nana's!

It's been a long time, I shouldn't have left you (in my best Timbaland voice). Yes, I have been gone for a while and I do apologize but I have a good reason: TRAVEL! At the end of 2017, I started traveling about the States and hit up New York, Chicago, and Florida. It was like it never ended because I then boarded a Royal Caribbean cruise making stops in the Bahamas, Jamaica, and Haiti. Here is some evidence:

I hope you are all having a great start to this new year. As you can tell, it's been great to me so far. Great things happening right at the beginning of the year inspire me to to believe that this is our year to sparkle, shine and be great!

With that being said, my first Fashion Friday of the year is all about sequins and sparkle.

I always love a good glitter, sequin, shimmery moment, but lately, I've been into it more than usual... See?

I am loving sequin to much right now, so much so that I ended up styling a FULL sequin and sparkle outfit for y'all for this week. Including these:

The reason sequin clothing isn't always obnoxious is that you can wear it for so many occasions, you can mix and match it with items you already own, AND you don't have to accessorize as much as you normally would with more basic clothing. Hence these simple, easy, and basic accessories:

Personally, I would wear this look for a casual date or girls night. Athleisure was a huge trend in 2017 and I don't think it's going anywhere for a while. These Faith Connexion pants remind me of the old school Adidas track pants with the snaps on the side that you could just rip off. These pants would actually work with sneakers and a more casual athletic tee. I'm telling you, endless options with these pieces! Trust ya girl! See you next Friday!
