The United State of Women
The United State of Women Summit was such an inspiring experience . It took place at the Walter E. Convention Center in Washington, D.C. and attracted over 5,000 attendees! The summit was powerful and healing. I learned that the work is not yet done, we have to remain creative, innovative, kind and open.
Some of the speakers included First Lady Michelle Obama, Oprah, Sophia Bush, Attorney General of the US Loretta Lynch, Valerie Jarrett, Shonda Rhimes, President Obama, Marley Dias and many more. The topics included Economic Empowerment, Health & Wellness, Educational Opportunity, Violence Against Women, Entrepreneurship & Innovation and Leadership & Civic Engagement.
