I felt like Cinderella!

The Bronx Ball was this week in honor of #BronxWeek and it took place at the Pelham Bay & Split Rock Golf Course. We went back home to the Bronx from D.C. to attend. Putting together this outfit was a little different for me, more of a challenge. I had meetings the day of the ball and by the time I was done and made it back to the Bronx, it was 5:30pm. The ball was due to start at 6pm and I had no dress!
Since the shopping choices around home were super slim I went into Pretty Girl on the corner of Fordham Rd and the Concourse and said "okay, put together an outfit for a black tie gala." over and over in my head. This was difficult because all the clothes where skin tight coupled with too many cut outs. I lucked out and found this dress for $30. Because navy looks so rich with nude, I looked and found the last pair of size 9 nude shoes in the place for $10. I had an olive green clutch for the night until my friend showed up with a gift bag for me containing this burgundy bedazzled night bag from India! I truly felt like cinderella the way this all came together.
"When in Rome" is always a good move.
